December Case of the Month: Cervical Fracture
How would you treat this month’s patient?
History and Examination:
- A 20-year-old male presents with progressively worsening neck pain over five months. This is now associated with right arm pain radiating down to the dorsal surface of his thumb. He was treated with PT, NSAIDs, and a chiropractor. He had X-rays when he first developed symptoms that were interpreted as normal. Has new imaging now.

- Meds – Naproxen
- PE
- AF VSS
- Neurologically intact
